dress re-sizing

One day on Pinterest I saw a pin about down-sizing a formal dress to a little girls dress up dress. So I was keeping my eye out for a great formal at goodwill. That's when I spotted this fabulous dress for $4.50!

So I grabbed it and did this to it...

I bought some gold costume satin for a little coat and used some hot pink fleece to line it so she can stay warm during Halloween. I love my little Princess!

Project 2- Baby Bib

Surprise I did another project! Since halloween is coming (On Monday) I decided to do a little "costume" for baby girl. Yes it is fun to dress them up in cute little fuzzy costumes but lets face it, most babies hate stuff on their head! So when I saw this bib on Pinterest I just had to make one for my baby girl and one for a friends new baby boy (which is the one pictured)

I started by taking a bib I have and pinning it to some knit fabric then cut it out. I then Sewed the Bias tape around it and freezer paper stenciled on the wording. I think it turned out pretty darn cute! have a great day!

Here we go....

So my little Kindergartner came home from school and announced that tomorrow at school they are having a cake decorating contest and she wanted to make a cake!
Well when it comes to cake decorating I have no experience whatsoever but I figured what the heck lets do this thing.
So I hopped on to good old Pinterest and found this sucker:

 Super cute huh!?!

So I thought well I can do something like that and wala her is our version of that super cute little monster cake.

 

 

 Our little monsters mouth and teeth are made of Chocolate. Lets face it, you can never have enough chocolate. So I guess we will see how the little guy does tomorrow. But what really matters is that My girls and I had great bonding time together as we created him. Thank you for the fun memories little Monster!

Hello World!! Well I have entered the world of Pinterest and have fallen in love with everything there! So I decided that I would start a blog to have my friends and family help me decide on what project I should do each week.

So to start out if you have a "Pin" that you would love to see done leave a link to it with your comment. And if it is something that there are no tutorials for in the internet world and you would like one, I will see what I can do ;)

Im really excited to actually get stuff done and Im hoping this blog will make me get it done in a timely manor (getting stuff done with 3 kids five and under is a challenge.)
