Crochet

I have always been in awe of the beautiful things people can crochet and knit. For example this little jacket with attached hood my grandma made for my little one.

I dont think i will ever be that good but i have wanted to learn. The only problem is I rarely have time seeing how I have 3 little ones to take care of which makes keeping count (which is a must) very hard.
Well I finally found a few crochet projects that are very beginner, which I am, don't take that long and are easy to know where you are.

First we have a baby beanie here is the video tutorial I found on youtube.

(I don't have a picture of mine that I made because I left it in the car and the hubby has the car at work with him.)

I made a second attempt at making this pattern the bigger size like she mentioned but Im pretty sure I added to much because I ended up with a circle. On the plus side I learned how to make a hot pad. lol

my second attempt=hot pad!
Then I saw this cute apple slice and searched and searched for a pattern, I finally found one here.

Then last Thursday I ran across this Pin which is just so darn cute and the easiest project of the three!

When I did the first on (the one on the right) I was making it from memory which I did pretty well but forgot to read the last steps for adding on to the flower petals. So I just added what I wanted it to look like and in the end I have a "ruffle/wavy" like flower. I also just used the hook I had so it made it a little bigger since my hook was bigger. Im not sure what I will do with them yet but Im thinking it will look super cute on a hat with a button in the middle. What do you think?
